Our Pastor

Daniel and Kris-Ann Wilcox are both ordained elders from the Central Pennsylvania Conference, and moved to Unalaska, in June 2007, along with their three children, and dog.  Dan is the appointed pastor, and primarily serving in that role.  Kris-Ann is currently on family leave, though is an active participant in the life and ministry of the church.  She is also actively involved with Public Safety as an EMT volunteer and works at the local clinic as an EMT on the nursing staff.

Both Dan and Kris-Ann grew up in Pennsylvania, Kris-Ann in the western part of the state, and Dan in the central region.  They met while attending Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY.  Before they met both had sensed God calling them at some point into the mission field.  They both served churches in Central Pennsylvania Conference before sensing God's leading to Alaska.

Dan and Kris-Ann love Unalaska, finding joy in the community and in the congregation.  One of the most difficult parts of living here is saying goodbye to new friends so often.  This has translated into a ministry of sending, worshiping, fellowshipping, and growing with people while they are here, and then praying that God's presence and purpose can follow them as they go to new places.  The constantly changing population within the fishing industry also allows for unique opportunities to meet and spend time with people from around the world.
